Cowichan Valley Bikepacking

I may be a sucker for the countryside, but bikepacking through Cowichan Valley is very close to my heart, and I try coming back at least once a year. I love the vast farm land, big open fields, cute animal encounters, and various terrains of the Cowichan Valley trail.

The summer trip to Sooke Potholes is like no other! I mean, ending your trip by chilling at the beach and dipping in the crystal clear water, especially on a hot day, it doesn’t get any better than that. Oh wait, it does! Did I mention that 95% of the route is on the bike trail?? :)

Sea to Sky - Squamish to Whistler

The Sea to Sky Trail is a 100-kilometre multi-use trail between Squamish and Pemberton. Before the trail development, the route was originally used by the Coast Salish and Interior Salish First Nations to connect the coast and interior. Squamish-Whistler section which we rode provides a very rewarding experience.From the lush rainforest to the pine forest, you will find a mix of flowy singletrack and wider chunky sections, clear lakes for swimming, and gorgeous viewpoints!
