Pacific Spirit Park (PSP) is one of the best places to ride gravel in the city.

On colder rainy days, when trails are less busy, you can zoom through them really fast and on hot days you can end your ride with a dip at Spanish Banks.
Either way, we assure you will have a great time here, so grab your bike and go explore the area as soon as you have a chance!

We love starting at one of the entrances by Crown Street, usually either 33rd or West Kind Edward Avenue. This way you can explore the southern part of the park, before descending down to the beach.

PSP is full of so many beautiful trails, you can spend hours exploring it. We recommend stopping by at SW Marine Dr Viewpoint, especially on a sunny day or if you are here around sunset.

Once you cross University Blvd, get ready for a fun descent through Salish and Spanish Trail. Second one can be a bit dusty and slippery, depending on the time of the year, so please use caution.

Enjoy the view of North Shore mountains while riding along the beach. Before hitting the pavement, don’t forget to stop by at Jericho Beach Park to ride more trails and find as many wild bunnies as you can.

We like to end this route at one of Kitsilano's coffee shops. If you crave croissants, we recommend Enroute on 1st, if doughnuts, 49th Parallel & Lucky’s Doughnuts on 4th is the place to be.

Note: Pacific Spirit Park is very popular by dog walkers, cyclist and runners. Expect dogs off-leash and be prepared to create enough space for everyone.
