North Van Sampler

You will find some wide trails by the rivers, hidden shortcuts through parks you didn’t even know existed and explore the beautiful rainforest.

Just like the other loop, it features Mosquito Creek Trail and Princess Park, but instead of riding down to sea level, you get to explore the Lynn Valley area a bit more. Starting with a few little shortcuts and parks through the city, you will be finally led to Lynn Canyon.

Enjoy a fun descent, take a break by the river, and look around at all the beauty this canyon has to offer. Lush Hyannis Trail which follows right after has a punchy climb, but it remains one of my favorite places. It’s insanely green and moss is hanging from all the trees around you.

On your way through Blueridge area, don’t forget to stop for a coffee and a snack at United Strangers coffee shop.  

Tip: we recommend riding this route clockwise to avoid the steepest climbs and enjoy more descending instead
